Having left Printing Services just before they moved to the new building, it is wonderful to see the great success that John had been able to lead Printing Services to. Excellent job! Now living in Ireland, I can proudly say that I've seen nothing that competes with what Oklahoma University has to offer in printing!

I worked as a designer in OU's publication group in 1975 and worked extensively with the OU Print Center. What a remarkable growth story from the hot type used then to this modern printing operation. Congrats.

As the former Assoc Director of OU Printing Services from 1980 to 1996 I am very proud to see the continued success that John and his staff have accomplished. The old building in the heart of campus was built in 1948 for Linotypes and letterpresses, some of which were still operating when I came on board in 1980, served us well. This new building will allow for the continued growth of Printing Services for many years to come. I MUST plan a trip back to Norman in the near future.
Thanks for the video

Great video. This is a good mechanism for showcasing the variety of printing facilities that support colleges and universities. It would be a daunting task, but highlighting a different school's in-plant operation each month would generate a lot of interest among IPG's readers.
